A family-friendly program including Peter & The Wolf, short classical works to delight all ages, and lively show tunes. Players of The Metropolis Symphony are drawn from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Grant Park Symphony, Chicago Opera Theater and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Soprano Michelle Areyzaga is known for her dramatic ability and audience rapport as well as her effortless, lyric style.

The Historic Dixon Theatre proudly presents the 2009 Acoustic Jam. This is a free event for all participants and audience members. All you have to do is bring your instrument. All other equipment will be provided by "BOGO PRODUCTIONS". We will have 4 stations set up on the stage so that groups can perform. Do not miss this chance to be on the big stage where the acoustics are second to none.

TIME: 6pm - 10pm (or longer)
